How to Change Your Entire Life With One Decision and 90 Days

Marco Riccardi on the Success Podcast

Success is often described as a long journey filled with years of sacrifice, failures, and gradual improvement. But according to mindset coach and public speaker Marco Riccardi, sometimes a single decision — followed by 90 days of focused action — can completely transform a person’s life.
In a powerful episode of the Success Podcast, Riccardi shared his philosophy about mindset, faith, discipline, environment, and personal growth, explaining how rewiring the mind can unlock an entirely new reality.
Riccardi’s story did not begin with success. He described himself as a college dropout and an unhappy employee searching for freedom — freedom of time, money, and location. After entering the online business world in 2016, he struggled for years without results. The turning point came when a mentor introduced him to personal development teachings from Bob Proctor.
“The moment I started rewiring my mind, my life changed,” Riccardi said. “My income changed, my mentality changed, my perspective changed — everything changed.”
According to him, many people remain trapped not because they lack talent, but because they believe they are stuck. “Being stuck is a decision,” he explained. “People already know what they need to do. The real problem is that they don’t do it.”
One of the strongest messages from the conversation focused on the importance of environment. Riccardi believes people are constantly programmed by the conversations, habits, and standards around them. He explained that even disciplined individuals can slowly absorb unhealthy behaviors if surrounded by the wrong environment long enough.
“We become the average of the people we spend the most time with,” he said. “We don’t rise to the level of our goals. We fall to the level of our environment.”
For Riccardi, growth requires three essential elements: someone who believes in you, the right environment, and the right information. Combined with faith in God, he believes anyone can radically transform their life.
Faith became another central topic during the interview. Riccardi revealed that he only developed a personal relationship with God in 2021 after separating religion from spirituality. He explained that reading the Bible changed his understanding of mindset and personal development.
“Eighty-five percent of personal growth teachings come from the Bible,” he claimed. “The more I get closer to God, the more my purpose becomes clear.”
The conversation also explored discipline, self-image, and masculinity. Riccardi argued that true friends and mentors are not the people who tell you what you want to hear, but those willing to challenge you because they care.
“A friend tells you what you want to hear,” he said. “A brother calls you out because it comes from love.”
Throughout the podcast, Riccardi repeatedly returned to the concept of constant reinvention. He believes people should “kill the old version” of themselves every single day and recreate themselves through action, discipline, and growth.
One of the most memorable moments came when he explained his famous “90-day system.” Instead of planning ten years ahead, Riccardi focuses intensely on short, highly disciplined periods of action.
“In 90 days, you can completely recreate yourself,” he explained. “You focus harder, take more action, and evaluate what worked and what didn’t. Life changes fast.”
The entrepreneur also discussed the importance of mentors, claiming that people should only take advice from individuals who already achieved the results they want. He credited mentors such as Tai Lopez, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Andy Elliott for shaping his journey.
When asked about success, Riccardi gave an unexpected answer.
“I just started,” he said. “Every day is about becoming bigger, stronger, wiser, and helping more people.”
By the end of the interview, one message became clear: transformation does not happen by accident. According to Riccardi, changing your life begins with changing your standards, your mindset, and the people around you — then committing fully for 90 days without excuses.
“Outwork everybody,” he said. “You either grow every day, or you slowly die.”
